The Help to Buy mortgage guarantee scheme will be available up to 31st December 2016.
Help to Buy 2 enables lenders to provide mortgages with more confidence to borrowers with a 5% deposit.
It applies to all types of properties with a purchase price up to £600,000, first-time buyers, home movers and remortgagers who do not own any other property.
A mortgage supported by Help to Buy 2 works in exactly the same way as any other mortgage from the purchaser’s perspective.
In order to apply for Help 2 Buy you must not own any other property, the mortgage must be a repayments mortgage and the maximum purchase price is £600,000.
Your property may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
For mortgages, we can charge a fee of £295, commission from the lender or a combination of both.
